Dr. Michelle Majors is a Leadership Development Consultant, Relationship Coach and inspirational speaker dedicated to mentoring new, emerging and experienced women leaders in owning their magic and manifesting extraordinary careers and relationships.
“I don’t think there is anything more important in life then having healthy, successful relationships. Whether in business, family or intimate partnerships, our relationship to the world is hugely based on our relationships with the people we are connected to.”
With over two decades of study and application in personal development and leadership, Michelle Majors has developed incisive insights that help her uplift and inspire women and girls to navigate through the barriers and circumstances of life and discover their true, authentic SELF. She believes that the number one issue that stops women dead in their tracks from a life of pure bliss is being unwilling to let go. Her approach to coaching is to let it go, so abundance can flow.
Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Transformational Leadership from Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry; and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Seattle University’s College of Education. Merging both spiritual principles along with practical skills, she offers a well-rounded approach to transforming any area of one’s life. She believes that there is magic inside of everyone and wakeUPgirl is the platform for all women to find it, own it and live it.
Michelle’s ministry and values
I believe that one’s failures, challenges and areas of struggle would become their ministry. For example, if you have repeatedly failed in business and finally became successful, one of your ministries is to be a business coach to provide insight and tools for others to avoid (or at least see) the pitfalls that cost time, money and frustration.
I realize through a lifetime of mistakes that my ministry is pretty clear.
Transformation through relationships
I’m really grateful for my own transformation that came through failure and loss and destructive relationships. All of these experiences led me to a place where I had to redefine my life, establish my core values and ABIDE by them. Strengthening these values daily, I have keen eyes to see, ears to hear and mind to understand when someone is not living up to these or “their own” core values. Girls and women are especially prone to abandoning their values to fit in or be accepted.
At the end of the day, I love what I do.
But that’s not all I love…
I am a textbook introvert. I love my quiet down times where I am able decompress, reflect and relax. This is essential to my life balance.
I don’t get to do it as much as I’d like to, but I love to travel to different places and learn about different cultures, foods and environments.
I’m kind of a big deal in the kitchen. I like to cook for friends and family.
That’s enough about me.
Again, thank you for stopping by.
In love & light!
